Claim Administration

Claim Administration

Starting 17th February 2005 all the EU/EEA Member States are obliged to follow the Air Passengers Rights Regulation (No 261/2004).

In 2013-2014 the EU Commission has launched a Passengers Rights Campaign which took place throughout Europe.  As a result, air passengers have become more aware of their rights resulting from the Regulation. There is a growing number of companies providing assistance to the air passengers in enforcing their claims against airlines in case of fight cancellation, denied boarding, long delay, lost luggage etc.

Thus, more and more claims are submitted to the airlines and national enforcement bodies. In addition there is a particular need for careful examination of those claims because some air passengers are willing to take advantage of the financial compensation provided in the Regulation even though their complaints are groundless.
